OUR STAFF
Rock White Owner and Designer:
I have been in the Cleveland area jewelry industry for thirty years. My first ten years were spent as an apprentice at a Cleveland jewelry manufacturer where I developed my skills as a jewelry artisan. I opened White Design Jewelers in 1989 as a wholesale custom design shop.
My first retail business in 1995 in Aurora and moved to Bainbridge in 1998. I’m really enjoying working directly with my old and new customers. I am currently working on creating my own signature line of jewelry for Bella and other area retailers. Look for the introduction coming soon.
Kara McGurer Floor Manager:
Kara’s true love for jewelry and design shows in her enthusiasm for everything she does; from getting to know her customers’ tastes and personalities to buying new pieces they will love. With nearly a dozen years experience in the industry, she considers one of the most satisfying parts of her job working with customers to “create a one-of-a-kind “ piece just for them.
Lisa Into Director of Marketing:
Lisa has known Rock for many years and worked for him at White Designs. Her primary focus at Bella is creating events for Bella’s customers that are not only fun but also make their jewelry purchases easy and relaxed. Lisa is a certified business coach and maintains a coaching practice, Life Leadership Alliance.
Elisabeth Woods Jeweler:
She has five years jewelry manufacturing and repair experience. Elisabeth grew up in the jewelry business; her father is a career goldsmith. She enjoys her work and aspires to completing a degree in studio art or fashion design.
Natalie Freedman Jeweler:
Natalie recently graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metals from Kent State University. She hopes to continue her education and attend graduate school in the future to acquire her Master of Fine Arts. Here at Bella Design Natalie works as a Jeweler as well as sales and she also works at maintaining the website.
Pam Chester Appraiser:
Pam is a graduate Gemologist and independent jewelry appraiser. She received her degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and has 33 years of experience. She is a senior member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. Years ago, Pam was working in the antique business. She quickly realized she needed to expand her knowledge base to ensure the best purchases. This provoked her self-education, then formal education, in gemology and appraising. She discovered a love and fascination for the science of gemology. Her preference for order and organization make appraisal work a perfect match to her personality.
